The Jamaica Product Exchange (JAPEX), the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association’s (JHTA) signature marketing event, will be held in Ocho Rios, September 30-October 2, 2012. As Jamaica's largest tourism trade show combining scheduled business appointments and a variety of social events, JAPEX offers the opportunity to buyers and suppliers to reaffirm existing partnerships and to establish new ones. In two days of pre-scheduled appointments, wholesalers and tour operators meet face to face with close to 150 of Jamaica’s leading tourism suppliers to conduct business negotiations. The JHTA will again partner with the Jamaica Tourist Board to engage new buyers from emerging markets and to also welcome home the many buyers and other members of the travel trade who remain committed to Jamaica as a premier destination for their clients. As our country celebrates fifty years of Independence, this event takes on added significance.
