AMResorts Unveils Ultimate Resource for Agents

AMResorts is a company that is constantly changing. It's not only adding new brands, such as Zoëtry and Now; the company is also continually refining the brands that took them to success, Secrets and Dreams. While AMResorts made its mark in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, it's also adding new destinations, such as Jamaica, and this May AMResorts will introduce the 339-suite Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa in Costa Rica.

If travel agents had to do it on their own, keeping up with these changes could be a real challenge. Thankfully, they don't have to, due to AMResort's revamped AMRagents.com website and their Master Agent Education Program.AM Rersorts

The all new Master Agent Education Program is also available through the site. The program invites registered members to learn more about AMResorts' brands and properties by participating in eight online seminars. In return, graduates receive official Master Agent status, earning them elite recognition, as well as a host of exclusive offers and rewards.

Program highlights include an ID card for an exclusive Master Agent rate of 50 percent off the best available rate, complimentary resort day pass access, client rewards, booking incentives, insider tips, the latest news and a graduate kit with all the tools for success. You'll also receive monthly newsletters with timely resort and brand information.

AMResorts had quite a year in 2010. The company closed the year with 22 resorts in Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, inclusive of more than 8,000 rooms.

January 2010 saw the continued expansion of the Secrets Resorts & Spa brand and the debut of AMResorts' first property in the Dominican Republic's Cap Cana development, Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana, the brand's first resort outside of Mexico.

The Now Resorts & Spas brand was also introduced in January 2010 with the opening of Now Jade Riviera Cancun, followed by Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun in May. Each new Now resort will be matched with the names of precious stones. Now offers AMResorts Unlimited-Luxury experience and targets fun-seeking couples, friends and families looking for lively vacations and elegant accommodations with ocean views. AMResorts is currently evaluating new destinations for the brand and will open new properties in Puerto Vallarta, Punta Cana and Cap Cana. AMResorts also celebrated the company's Jamaica debut with the opening of a two-resort, $180 million project. Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay opened in March and sister property Secrets St. James Montego Bay in April.

The year also saw great recognition for AMResorts' Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts brand, as Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita Riviera Maya received the AAA Five Diamond award, the seventh consecutive year the property has been awarded this distinction.

2011 will see the aforementioned opening of the Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa in Costa Rica, as well as the opening of the Gems at Cap Cana. The four-resort $400 million complex will offer a combined 1,100 suites. Located in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, it will be comprised of Zoëtry Gems at Cap Cana, Secrets Gems at Cap Cana, Now Emerald Cap Cana and Now Pearl Cap Cana.

AMResorts will introduce the 339-suite Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa in May 2011, and the Secrets Vallarta Bay Puerto Vallarta and Now Amber Puerto Vallarta will debut in Summer 2012.
