The Hotel and Tourism Association of the Dominican Republic (ASONAHORES) has announced its 12th Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE). From April 27-29, DATE will take place at the brand new, all-inclusive, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, D.R. This is a unique opportunity for wholesalers, tour operators, incentive groups and charter operators to have an effective business exchange through prearranged appointments with the main Dominican touristic product providers, including hotels, travel agencies, rental car companies, and excursions operators.
DATE is sponsored by the Dominican Ministry of Tourism and has been established as the leading event for the commercialization of the Dominican touristic product, welcoming year after year an increasing number of tour operators from key feeder countries for the DR such as the United States, Canada, and several European & South American countries with strong players such Argentina & Brazil.
During three consecutive days tour operators are provided the opportunity to conduct an effective business exchange through prearranged appointments with the main Dominican touristic product providers, such as hotels, travel agencies, rent cars and excursions.
This year, the traditional Caribbean Night celebrated during the second day of the event, will be hosted by the Barceló Bávaro Beach Resort, where guests will have the opportunity to see the renewed facilities of the resort.
Every year worldwide known tourism specialized media and press are welcomed to cover the business conducted at DATE as well as enjoy the social gatherings held during the event, where the main figures of the Dominican tourism industry are present.
