Bermuda "Feel The Love Month"

Bermuda’s island-wide "Feel the Love Month" will take place January 16 – March 3, 2012. Sponsored by the Bermuda Department of Tourism, this program offers romantic couples the chance to enjoy the island’s cultural offerings through dedicated daily activities such as a love cruise, champagne and strawberries museum reception and salsa dancing nights

Romance-minded couples can enjoy a free night stay at participating hotels when booking a minimum three-night stay during Feel the Love Month "Compliments of Bermuda." Accommodations range from luxury resorts and boutique hotels to beach clubs and historic beach-front properties, and the promotion also provides access to exclusive deals and rates at more than 50 Bermuda retailers, including water sports shops, retail stores, restaurants and more with a special Traveler’s Price Card.

Bermuda’s "Feel the Love Month" events and activities include:

Couples’ Golf Tournament
Port Royal Golf Course, Southampton
Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm
Couples will enjoy lush greenways at Port Royal Golf Course, the home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, and receive a 50 percent discount on greens fees, inclusive of a cart. Winners of the tournament will receive prizes compliments of the Bermuda Department of Tourism.

Champagne and Strawberries Afternoon Affair
Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, Botanical Gardens, Paget
Tuesdays from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
After complimentary access and a guided tour of Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, located in the Botanical Gardens and home to collections by various notable artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe and Winslow Homer, guests are invited to listen to a performance by one of Bermuda’s top saxophone players while enjoying champagne, chocolate and an assortment of fruit in the exquisite Rose Garden.

Love Train City Tour
Front Street, City of Hamilton (Meet at the Flagpole)
Wednesdays from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Guests can board the "Love Train" for a guided tour of Bermuda’s romantic places in the City of Hamilton. While onboard, visitors will discover unique facts about the City and photograph some of Bermuda’s most historic sites.

SalsaMania Latin Night Out
Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 pm – midnight
Visitors can spice up the romance with a sizzling Salsa night featuring choreographed routines, special couples’ instruction, Latin cuisine, beverages and music. SalsaMania will take place at the following two locations:
Wednesdays: Moon Nightclub and Lounge, 95 Front Street, City of Hamilton
Fridays: Victoria Grill, 29 Victoria Street, City of Hamilton

Dockyard Glassworks
Maritime Lane, Royal Naval Dockyard
Thursdays from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Visitors can watch talented artists create glass masterpieces using the process of glass-blowing and flame-working. Also, guests receive a specially made lovebird, compliments of the Department of Tourism.

While onboard the ’Love Cruise,’ guests will enjoy musical entertainment and complimentary refreshments during a tour through Hamilton Harbour’s romantic hideaways.

Feel the Love Fridays

In the heart of the City, love will be in the air as guests are serenaded with popular love songs at the renowned Bermuda National Gallery.

Love Tales Walking Tour
Town Hall, Town of St. George
Saturdays from 10:30 am – 11:45 am
Join one of Bermuda’s renowned tour guides in St. George’s for an intimate walk through the historic Town of St. George, UNESCO World Heritage site. Learn about Bermuda’s greatest love stories while discovering locally made products.
