The Saint Lucia Tourist Board (SLTB) is enhancing the Preferred Agent Saint Lucia Specialist(PASS) program with the new Piton Awards. Agent and agency partners participating in PASS will be automatically enrolled to be eligible to earn new incentives from participating hotels, monthly cash prizes of $500 to the top booking travel agent and agency, and the opportunity to win a grand prize of a Saint Lucia branded car.
The PASS program offers several benefits including:

- Listing on SLTB website

- Complimentary site inspections
- Featured spots within the SLTB monthly e-newsletter
- A chance to win an all expense, all inclusive trip for two
“Our valued travel agent and agency partners are a precious resource in selling Saint Lucia to travelers and we want to reward them for their ongoing support,” said Nerdin St. Rose, Saint Lucia Tourist Board’s VP Marketing & Sales. “Our goal is to ensure that agents have the tools they need to be successful as well as giving them the opportunity to experience first-hand all Saint Lucia has to offer.”
The Piton Awards is an annual program and this year runs now through May 31, 2013. To be eligible agents must complete the Saint Lucia Specialist Course, be IATA/CLIA/ARC/CLAA certified, attend a Saint Lucia presentation at least once per year and update bookings online regularly. The monthly drawing of $500 will be given out to the top booking agent of the month with an additional $500 to the agency. The grand prize Saint Lucia branded vehicle will be awarded to a top producing travel agent chosen from those who book a minimum of 500 room nights between June 2012 and May 2013.
