Breeze’s Bahamas Closes for Repairs after Hurricane Irene

Breezes Bahamas will close for repairs due to the damage caused by Hurricane Irene last week. The resort plans to accept arrivals again on November 1.

“As the damage is primarily to the roof, it will take some time to properly assess and make necessary repairs,” said John Issa, chairman of SuperClubs Super-Inclusive Resorts. “We would not be able to adequately deliver the Super-Inclusive product and service to our guests during the time of restoration. We apologize for any inconvenience, and are appreciative of our guests being patient and understanding.”

Guests scheduled to arrive now through October 31, may revise their booking to stay anytime between November 1 through December 23 and receive a one room category upgrade (subject to availability), or they may move reservations to a Breezes Resort in Jamaica at the same room rate and work directly with airlines regarding change in destination. Guests may also cancel hotel reservations without penalty by September 6.
